Founder & Human Resources Consultant
Melissa Marsh, founder of HRinDemand is a Business Owner’s secret weapon. She provides superb guidance to small businesses in Nevada. With over 20 years of experience, Melissa founded HRinDemand in 2011 so she could deliver solutions to local organizations who need to outsource HR or bridge the gap between less experienced HR team members. Her career has spanned many industries including gaming, hospitality, e-commerce, publishing, real estate, and start-ups. She brings experience and understanding to help business owners understand and navigate the maze of employment regulations in their industries. Specifically, HRinDemand provides first-rate guidance and resources on all things HR. This includes handbooks, recruiting, benefit analysis, performance management, HR forms, and processes/procedures that help build a foundation for business owners/operators to effectively recruit, hire, and manage employees. Melissa also conducts internal investigations of harassment, discrimination, and other employment-related complaints. Beyond that, Melissa watches over each client keeping a close eye on Federal, State, and Local compliance, regulation, and all the other arduous things that bog businesses down and put them at unnecessary risk. As a native Nevadan, Melissa understands the community culture and cares deeply for the people and economic health of Northern Nevada. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Northern Nevada Human Resources Association (NNHRA), serving as President in 2021. She also stays involved with local business organizations and has served on the NCET Board of Directors and as an Ambassador for the Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce. PHR, Human Resources Support Specialist
Bailey Cummins is a human resource specialist at HRinDemand. She joined the team in 2019 and continues to be a valuable resource for our community. She oversees the hiring process, including coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, performing telephone screens, and completing reference checks. On top of that, she coordinates the FMLA activities our clients being sure to include documentation and tracking. As a military spouse, Bailey proudly supports her husband as a dedicated defender of our country.
IT & Marketing
Lindsey Rowles joined HRinDemand in 2018. She is a digital content strategist with 10 years of experience in advertising management. In 2018 she revamped the HRinDemand website and helps keep it up-to-date. She is currently working with the team to build a subscription-based portal that assists Nevada-based businesses with their HR needs. Each week, she helps the entire HRinDemand team cultivate useful content that is shared on the HRinDemand blog and social media platforms. Lindsey donates her time and expertise to Dress For Success where she acts as the Marketing Chair. In her free time, she loves to hang out with her husband Rob and her 2-year-old son Sean. They bike, ski and take long daily walks.
