Melissa Marsh, MA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Founder & Human Resources Consultant
Human resources expert, Melissa Marsh, is founder of HRinDemand LLC, a Reno-based human resources consultancy providing easy-to-use tools and expert guidance to help entrepreneurs and small business owners effectively recruit, hire and manage employees. With more than 15 years of working in Human Resources, Melissa is able to readily assess an employer’s needs. She brings experience and understanding to help business owners understand and navigate the maze of employment regulations in their industries. With a focus on small businesses (less than 100 employees), Melissa’s company operates as an outsourced human resources department, offering customized employee handbooks, job descriptions, HR policies/procedures, recruiting, hiring, training, surveys, cost savings benefits analysis and employee performance management. Melissa also conducts internal investigations of harassment, discrimination and other employment-related complaints. In the late 1990s, she began her career in the casino industry, working in human resources for MGM Grand, Las Vegas. Following her work at MGM Grand, Melissa was employed in a variety of industries, including start-up consulting firms, Fortune 500 companies, food and beverage companies, and publishing companies. She held positions with First American Appraisal Services, Webvan, N9NE Group, and Greenspun Media Group. Melissa’s extensive and comprehensive experience demonstrates her ability to be adaptable and attentive to any organization or company. Dedicated to the advancement of her profession, Melissa is a member of the Northern Nevada chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has served on organizational committees for the 2012 Nevada State SHRM Conference and the 2013 Nevada State Legislative Conference. She is currently a member of the Northern Nevada Human Resources Association board of directors serving as chair of the Workforce Readiness Committee. Melissa is committed to helping Nevada’s entrepreneurial business owners/operators in a variety of ways. She has served as a Chamber of Commerce ambassador and as a member of the NCET board of directors. As a native Nevadan, a graduate of the University of Nevada-Reno, the recipient of a master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, an HRCI-certified Senior HR Professional, and SHRM Senior Certified Professional, Melissa understands the people, the business environment and the laws that govern Nevada employers.
Lindsay Bradley, MBA, MSML, is a consultant with the HRinDemand team. She offers expert guidance and easy-to-use tools to help small businesses with employment regulations, compliance, employee relations, and company growth. Lindsay's ability to recognize, organize, and implement business process improvements has been at the forefront of her success. She helps create fundamental HR strategies, spark innovation, inspire growth, and create cultures where employee satisfaction is valued. Through her diverse skill set, Lindsay continues to demonstrate success across industries and is a testament to her comprehensive business acumen and conscious leadership approach. Her goal for each business she touches is to achieve more than just the status quo. She is passionate about developing people to help them optimize their full potential through the adoption of new skills, conscious leadership training, and coaching. Lindsay earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, a Master's in Management & Leadership and most recently obtained her MBA.
PHR, Human Resources Support Specialist
Bailey Cummins is a human resource specialist at HRinDemand. She joined the team in 2019 and continues to be a valuable resource for our community. She oversees the hiring process, including coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, performing telephone screens, and completing reference checks. On top of that, she coordinates the FMLA activities our clients being sure to include documentation and tracking. As a military spouse, Bailey proudly supports her husband as a dedicated defender of our country.
IT & Marketing
Lindsey Rowles joined HRinDemand in 2018. She is a digital content strategist with 10 years of experience in advertising management. In 2018 she revamped the HRinDemand website and helps keep it up-to-date. She is currently working with the team to build a subscription-based portal that assists Nevada-based businesses with their HR needs. Each week, she helps the entire HRinDemand team cultivate useful content that is shared on the HRinDemand blog and social media platforms. Lindsey donates her time and expertise to Dress For Success where she acts as the Marketing Chair. In her free time, she loves to hang out with her husband Rob and her 2-year-old son Sean. They bike, ski and take long daily walks.
Christy Bonnett joined HRinDemand as executive assistant to Melissa Marsh in May 2016. She is a C-level executive assistant with over 20 years of experience supporting senior executives in large corporations as well as entrepreneurial companies. Interfacing with employees and clients from entry level to executive, Christy has managed a wide range of confidential personnel and business matters. She has developed human resources operations and procedures for young companies in addition to handling the hiring and on-boarding processes. Christy brings well-rounded experience and keen interpersonal skills to her position at HRinDemand. Prior to joining HRinDemand, she was executive assistant to the chief operating officer at Elevate Investment Group. Christy supported senior executives in strategy, medical management and information technology at Health Net, Inc. and a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm. Christy participates in the Society for Human Resources. She holds an AA in economics from Los Angeles Valley College.
