Attn Nevada Employers: Display New Poster by Oct. 1, 2021

The New Poster Provides Employees With Notice of State Job Training and Employment Programs

Nevada has amended its unemployment laws to require employers to display and maintain a new poster published by the state’s Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR). This new poster is available in both English and Spanish. The new law becomes effective on Oct. 1, 2021.

The new poster provides employees with notice of job training and employment programs conducted by the DETR. The poster names various resources available to employees and includes a number of web addresses employees can use to access more information about each program. This poster will be updated as necessary to provide accurate information.

Like with other required workplace posters, employers must display this new poster in a conspicuous location at the place of employment where notices to employees and employment applicants are customarily posted and read.

Download the Poster – English (Current Sept. 28th, 2021)
Download the Poster – Spanish (Current Sept. 28th, 2021)

The poster is a living document, meaning it may be updated. For the most up-to-date version, visit the DETR’s website and find the notice, entitled, “AB 307 Required Posting”. This poster is available in both English and Spanish.
